What are the hours at Meximodo Jersey City?
Lunch is served Monday to Friday, 11:30am to 4pm, and brunch on Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pm. Dinner runs Sunday to Thursday, 4pm to 10pm, and Friday and Saturday, 4pm to 11pm. Hours can change on major holidays, so check live availability when you book.
Do I need a reservation?
Friday and Saturday dinner is our busiest time, so booking ahead is a good idea. You can reserve a table online for up to 13 guests. If the booking system won't take your party size, email hola@meximodo.com with your date, time and party size and the team will confirm your table.
Do you serve brunch in Jersey City?
Yes, every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Brunch favorites include Chilaquiles, Tres Leches French Toast, Steak & Eggs and the Breakfast Burrito, and the full Street Taco Collection is on the brunch menu too.
What should I order?
Our food is family style Mexican, made for sharing, with handmade tortillas. Guest favorites are the Truffle Street Corn (our best seller), Prime Ribeye Steakhouse Tacos, Pineapple Fire Shrimp Taco, Char-Grilled Prime Carne Asada and Churros & Dips. Is there a happy hour?
Yes. Happy hour runs Monday to Thursday, 4pm to 6pm, at the bar. Bar seats are walk in only, first come, first served, and happy hour does not apply to table reservations.
Is Meximodo Jersey City a tequila bar?
Yes. Our bar pours a tequila and mezcal selection along with handcrafted cocktails and the Meximodo Margarita, rated the #1 margarita in New Jersey. Ask your bartender about tequila flights and guided tastings, or browse the Agave List on our menus page.
Where do I park?
There is no dedicated lot, but the Columbus Parking Garage at 16 Christopher Columbus Drive is right next door and is what most guests use. Several other paid garages sit along Christopher Columbus Drive.
Can I host a private event or a large group?
Yes. Groups of 14 or more are hosted as private events, each with a food and beverage package priced per person (12 guest minimum). In Jersey City you can choose the Rose Room mezzanine (seats up to 75, up to 110 seated and standing), the fully private Locker Room (up to 20) or the seasonal Outdoor Terrace on Columbus Drive (up to 50). What is the Locker Program?
A members only spirits and wine storage program at Meximodo Jersey City. Members get 20 percent discounts, waived venue fees for private events and bottle service privileges. To ask about joining, email hola@meximodo.com.
Is there a dress code?
Smart casual. The vibe is vibrant and lively, especially at Friday and Saturday dinner.
Do you have options for kids, vegetarians and gluten free diets?
Yes. There is a kids menu, plenty of vegetarian dishes, and most vegetarian items can be made vegan. Most of the menu is or can be made gluten free, with corn tortillas in place of flour. Gluten free is not marked on the menu, so tell your server, and please flag any allergy with your server too.
Do you offer takeout or delivery?
Not right now. Meximodo Jersey City is dine in only.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome on our outdoor terrace when the weather allows.
